Went there a few weeks ago with the kids. Didn’t eat anticuchos, because it was too early, but my second oldest boy begged me to buy him a S/.10 arrow head pendent, which hasn’t taken off since.

We went walking around there with my mom the last time she visited – she actually took this picture. She’s coming back at the end of the month, and the first thing she mentioned she’d like to is go back.

One of the nicest places from Traditional Lima. Anticuchos and Picarones are the best!

    Hi Erin –

I am on a sort of “unofficial” break right now – life has definitely gotten in the way of my blogging here!

But I do update fairly regularly on my Facebook page, and whenever I make a post here on the blog I’ll be sure to let everyone know there. You can follow along by liking the page at https://www.facebook.com/mylifeinperu

    About

I got tired of life happening while I made other plans, so I quit my job and came to Peru. I live here with my Peruvian husband, two sons, three dogs and various other family members, depending on the weather.
